Albir Fiesta – August 2022

The schedule for this summers Albir festivals have been announced. The full program for the weekend 19th – 21st August is shown below, plus other events are listed further down the page.

• Friday, 5 August: Recital de Ivana Oliva – Faro de L’Albir – 20:30 h
• Saturday, 6 August: ‘Circo Circog’ – Villa Romana de L’Albir – 22:30 h
• Friday, 12 August: ‘Saudade Quartet’ – Villa Romana L’Albir – 22:30 h
• Saturday, 13 August: Ópera y zarzuela / Noche de L’Albir – Villa Romana L’Albir – 22:30 h
• 19 to 21 August: Festes de L’Albir
• Friday, 19 August: ‘Dúo Apellániz’ – Centro Social L’Albir – 22 h
• Friday, 26 August: ‘Pasión andaluza’ – Centro Social L’Albir – 22 h
• Saturday, 27 August: ‘Ballet Español Dansara’ – Escenario Ancla Racó de L’Albir – 22:30 h

Venues for the different events are mainly the Villa Romana, with a couple of special events at the Social Centre (by the football pitches alongside Mercadona), 1 at the beach Anchor stage and 1 at the Albir Lighthouse.

The main “party fiesta” with the penya’s will take place as usual around the Eucaliptus Park on Friday 19th, Saturday 20th and finishing with fireworks on Sunday 21st August. This usually involves a lot of drinking, loud music, fireworks and often the giant communal paella…
