Albir is a great place to visit. The beachfront promenade and street cafés and bars make it an excellent daytime venue, but what happens at Night? Albir is a seasonal resort with the winter months being a lot quieter, however daytime’s in winter can be lovely, sunny and warm. This attracts people and fills the terraces of the cafes bars and restaurants. During these winter months the evenings, after dark, from around 7pm the streets become pretty deserted. But in the summer months of June, July and August this is a different story.
There are a number of restaurants and bars, but during the winter months these may close early or have nights when they close altogether. In the summer months the nightlife is mainly bar and cafe terraces filled with people having a good time with drinks and snacks.
LIVE MUSIC
There are several bars in Albir that offer live music. Many nights of the week, all year round you will find live entertainment. There are 4 main music venues in Albir. Brew Rock (though technically this is Altea), The Church, Cuba Bar and the Irish Tavern. There are also other bars like The Orange Tree and Ipanema that also offer occasional live acts.
LATE NIGHT BARS
Many bars will close around midnight, some have licences util 2AM and offer great drinks, cocktails and music such as KARAOKE (see Karaoke Mars below). A couple of bars offer a licence until 4AM. For great entertainment in Albir and drinks until 2AM or 4AM try Goodfellas Bar, Beach Lounge, La Penultima and The Church.
KARAOKE
Before the pandemic many bars offered Karaoke evenings. The Church, Pineapple, Ipanema and Goodfellas all had Karaoke nights. There was also VOICES KARAOKE BAR but sadly this has closed down now.
NIGHTCLUB
In Albir there is only one nightclub. Club Infinity opened over 10 years ago and has recently had a big refurbishment. It is a dance club with a nice new outside terrace. Very popular at late night with locals and holiday makers.
