Just Eat Home Delivery Albir
A year ago there were very few restaurant establishments in the Albir area that provided a quality home delivery service. This is something that has been lacking in this area of Spain for many years. Albir has fallen well behind the times with the likes of Just Eat. Deliveroo, UberEats and Hungry House are now household names in many parts or Europe.
In addition to Just Eat many restaurants are now offering other delivery services during the current pandemic and hostelry closure. Spain is now getting on the case and the Just Eat and Glovo services are becoming more available. Local restaurants are taking advantage of their delivery services. Especially during the lockdown period and Covid-19 restrictions.
More people now want reliable home food delivery. Local restaurants can now use the services to get there food to a much wider audience. UberEats and Deliveroo are also now operating in Spain. At the moment only in the big cities, hopefully soon these too will serve Albir.
Using a service like Just Eat is so easy. You can download the app for free onto your phone. By putting in your address it will tell you that there are currently 15 restaurants available to you. Choose your restaurant or food type. Most of them have the full menu available. There maybe a small delivery charge, or a minimum spend to get free delivery.
Order Food
The other day I decided to use Just Eat in Albir. At home, hungry, busy working and had nothing at home to cook. I really didn’t want to go out to the supermarket or a fast food takeaway. On the off chance I grabbed my phone and opened the Just Eat app. To my surprise I found several restaurants and takeaway services that would deliver to me. MMMmmm CURRY jumped out at me and I saw that Albir’s Gurkha Nepalese and Indian restaurant was on the system.
It took me five minutes to go through the menu. Choose my food, place the order and make payment using PayPal. I got an immediate response from Just Eat saying that my order was accepted with the restaurant and was being prepared. I was able to follow the progress of my order using the app. Within 20 minutes I could see that a delivery driver/rider was on his way to me.
Five minutes later and the food arrived. Pretty much contact less delivery as I had already paid online. The food was hot and fresh, exactly the same as it would have been at the restaurant. I was well happy.
