The large plot of land as you head out of Albir towards Benidorm on the CV-753 has finally been flattened for it’s redevelopment. Sited just before the Galp petrol station on the junction with Carrer Serra Gelada you will see large mounds of sandy soil. This development was proposed and agreed back in 2018/2019 but due to Covid-19, amongst other factors, has taken a while to come to fruition.
This plot of land has been purchased by the adjacent Camping La Colina in agreement of their proposed expansion. The plot of some 12,000 square metres had been designated as “non-developable” but it appears this have been circumvented by a “Declaration of Community Interest”
The expansion will increase the camp ground by some 70% and move the number of camping plots from 91 to 152, with a new total capacity of 456 people.
